Information

Near the northern side of the Aegean Sea sits the island of Thassos. It is a verdurous island with rich natural beauty. Pine trees cover the island and come down to the shores, while exotic beaches with crystal water have made Thassos one of the most famous holiday destinations in Greece.

As the history of Thassos started in the prehistoric times, there are a lot of archaeological treasures to see. Thassos is also well known for the marvelous honey, the excellent extra-virgin olive oil, the olives Throumbes, the spoon sweets (preserves), the mineral springs and of course for the hospitality of the inhabitants.

Furthermore, you have to visit our traditional villages in the mountain such as Kazaviti (or Small and Big Prinos), Panagia, Potamia, Theologos, Maries and the most popular seasides such as Trypiti, Psili Ammos, Aliky, Paradise, Golden Beach, Makryammos and Dasilio.
